What matters when choosing
- RTSP/ONVIF. Most IP cameras and NVRs support them — enough for the relay.
- Dedicated user. Create a view-only account for the relay, without admin rights.
- Stable internet. For viewing — from 2 Mbps per camera.
- Power and PoE. If cameras use PoE, check the switch and recorder support it.
